We are delighted to announce Modern Dermatology are providing Virtual Visits with our techology partner, Klara. Klara provides the secure communications platform that Modern Dermatology uses to enable real-time virtual visits, secure messaging and remote monitoring. All in one place.
We can do virtual visits for all New York State residents at home or on vacation and New or Established patients that are currently in New York during their virtual visit.
Please confirm you fit into these parameters before scheduling your telemedicine visit.
If your appointment is ONLY for full body skin cancer screening, we cannot do that via telemedicine. However, if you have other skin concerns you would like to discuss, we could do that via telemedicine.
How does it work?

Look out for an email or text, we will send you an invitation to confirm your virtual visit
Log in 15 minutes before your video visit and come prepared with questions for your provider

Most insurances cover telemedicine visits the same way they would cover an in-office visit.
